I just finished another of Leslie Meier’s cozy mysteries, Christmas Cookie Murder. This is book #6 in her Lucy Stone series.
In this book Lucy hosts the annual cookie exchange in her home which turns out to be a disaster in more ways than one. Then, if that wasn’t enough, one of her guests is found murdered and another of her guests husband is arrested. I love how Leslie can write books that have more than one topic going at a time. This book not only has a murder to solve, but also includes teen drugs and alcohol, volunteer fireman, police stings, and the trials of trying to keep a weekly paper profitable and still print real news.
A good quick read that I really enjoyed.
