Pretty Violets Tin

I liked my Springtime Bloom Tin so much I decided to cover another small tin I had on hand.  This tiny tin has been in my purse forever filled with pills (Tylenol, aspirin, etc.).

Last year I also completed the Pretty Violets chart (a free Chart Shop pattern) and I knew it would be a perfect fit for this tin.  I added a couple of seed beads to the flowers center and outlined the tin in seed beads.  I would have liked to use purple seed beads, but I couldn’t find any at JoAnn’s when I was shopping for them.  I used a light green that seems to go nicely with the green in the leaves.  I also used a small piece of  green material that I made into a strip of bias tape to cover the red tin edge.

These little projects would make a nice gift and they are fun to make.  Happy Stitching!
